My current work in watercolor is a blend of impressionism, semi – representational and abstract painting. I enjoy working with shape, texture, line and color, experimenting with spontaneous and controlled interactions of paint and water producing compositions that are fluid and vibrant. I enhance my imagery by lifting paint or layering colors to create texture and depth. My art is strongly influenced and representative of nature, the ocean, florals, trees and leaves.
