When  I was in Tanzania this year I met a young gifted artist who works with a safari company to lead safaris for artists.  He asked if i could circulate his flyer at home. His program sounds amazing  and fun. I think people who come into the gallery  might  be interested.

Part of the excitement of participating in the NYC art gallery scene is knowing about the opening receptions for the newest exhibitions.One of my artful friends, Karen Kirshner is a talented abstract painter who lives on Long Island. When she told me her work was about to be showcased in a solo exhibition at one of the longtime art galleries in Chelsea, I was so happy for her!Now I am passing the info to all my artful friends.  The New York Society of Women Artists’ is presenting a show called INvision at the Art League of Long Island. It is up until May 27, and occupies both floors of the gallery. Karen Kirshner’s work can be seen here as well as at bj spoke gallery.

NEW MURAL DESIGNED BY MEMBER ANTHONY HUNTER TO BE CREATED AT BJ SPOKE GALLERY’S BACK DOOR

Are you going to be crawling on the Huntington Art Crawl on June 3rd? Bj spoke gallery is having its own exciting event on that very same day. Make sure to come visit us and watch the mural painting on our rear wall in the parking lot. Member Anthony Hunter has designed a wonderful mural and it will appear on June 3.
