Leif is a contemporary landscape and conceptual artist. His works are of land, water, and sky, but they also take a path that leads inside — into an interior world. They are exterior and interior landscapes. His artwork is rooted in self-experience and expression, and focuses on continuities between nature and human nature. His work examines both what is inside as much as outside and the connections between. Leif’s work reflects an eternal search and struggle to understand nature and ourselves, and ultimately about comprehending our existence.
